Group: 23rd October shooting

On the 23rd October we went to our rooftop location and filmed part of our sequence of the music video. We filmed with our main character Isaac.

When we arrived it was spitting with rain, however we still continued with the shoot. We had brought waterproofing for our camera so were able to proceed. Also the rain allowed us to film some very effective shots of our main character walking through puddles.

Some difficulties which we encountered were that the lens on the camera kept becoming speckled with rain. Also the floor became slippery and more dangerous for our crew and cast.

At the location we used a tri-pod, Camera frame and track and dolly. These were all utilised to create some professional and steady shots.

 

At the end of the shoot we have not captured all of the footage needed but due to time restraints we have decided to return at the later date of the 4thh November. We didn't complete shots of smoke, and need some more shots of our main character portraying his depressed state through clear non-verbal language. Also after reviewing the footage we have noticed that the main characters jacket becomes done up in the last few shots. Either we will re shoot these shots with his jacket undone or we will have to include a shot of the main character doing up his jacket so not to break continuity.
We also need some more CU shots of the bracelet on his wrist as this prop is essential. We were unable to obtain the speakers needed for one of the shots so we must film this on the 28th.
